Ascent Rift Valley Fund Ltd (the Fund) is a Mauritius domiciled fund which has, since its inception in 2014, invested in enterprises in Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda with ambitious entrepreneurs, a proven track record and significant growth potential.
The mission of the Fund is to develop and nurture a league of enterprise champions that set the bar for business standards in their respective markets.
The Fund invests in a broad range of sectors and targets transactions of US$ 2 million – 15 million. Larger transactions may also be considered together with co-investors.
The Fund mainly invests in enterprises in Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia and is exclusively managed by Ascent Capital Africa Ltd. with the support of local advisory companies.
